Tropical rainforests- Everything you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask

Tropical rainforests and their enormous diversity have been the focus of public interest for decades.
What are the tropics, how can this immense diversity be explained and how are the organisms adapted to the different living conditions?
With a focus on the tropics of the New World, Klaus Mummenhoff addresses these questions, characterizes and demonstrates tropical diversity and discusses popular misconceptions about biological relationships in tropical forests.
After the lecture, there will be an introduction to the exhibition by Sebastian Holt and Felix Przesdzink in the Rainforest House.
